Piyush Goyal Chairs Single Window System Review Meeting


New Delhi [India], June 22 (ANI): Union Minister Piyush Goyal said on Tuesday that there will soon be the smooth launch of the first phase of the national single window system.

There will be 17 ministries / departments and 14 states on board in the first phase which is expected to launch soon, the minister said at the one-stop-shop review meeting held today. MoS, Commerce and Industry, Som Prakash also attended the meeting.

According to the official statement from the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the digital platform will allow investors to identify and apply for various pre-transaction approvals required to start a business in India.

Goyal expressed the hope that it will be a transparent interface where all the facilities, from the purchase of land to all the information necessary for companies and industrialists, will be available. He said the “one-stop-shop” would be a true window, acting as a one-stop solution to any investor problems or requirements. “This would provide end-to-end facilitation, support including pre-investment advice, land bank information and facilitate authorizations at central and state levels,” he added.

This will allow investors to know what approvals are required to establish a particular business and allow them to apply for those approvals to start their business, see the status of those approvals and provide / request clarification regarding the same, all on one level. only platform.

Goyal has also placed great emphasis on the security and authentication of critical data used in this platform. He said all security measures should be in place to protect critical data and suggested a third-party audit of the platform before launch. (ANI)
