A true industry veteran, John Fulena joined Konica Minolta in 2020 with over 35 years of experience, much of it with larger OEMs. Fulena’s focus at Konica Minolta has been to help the company’s reseller community grow its business in the print production and industrial printing (PP/IP) markets. Starting his new position during the pandemic meant his job was cut for him. When travel and in-person meetings became impossible, he and his team hosted virtual tours and product demonstrations from the company’s Customer Engagement Center (CEC). Their efforts have kept Konica Minolta’s PP/IP sales on track, with many units being sold unseen. The constant changes required increased communication and training with the company’s dealers, with continuous field monitoring to assess needs and identify priorities to secure as many orders as possible each week. Additionally, supply chain issues forced John to focus on managing inventory, allocating toner, and maintaining relevant promotions for reseller partners.

Cody Walton is responsible for evaluating Konica Minolta’s wide range of offerings, including managed computing, unified communications, intelligent information management (IIM), software solutions, and video security solutions (VSS ) and strategically integrate them into the company’s reseller sales channel. He works closely with each Konica Minolta dealership, reviewing their business plans, current offerings, customer base and capabilities to formulate new lines of business into successful sales strategies. By encouraging dealerships to diversify their portfolios, Walton helps them maintain business continuity and thrive through digital transformation (DX). When Konica Minolta launched a new initiative last year to focus on vertical markets, Walton took what the company was doing with its direct sales channel and aligned it with the dealer channel, using research , data and analysis to define opportunities in the market. Walton has worked at Konica Minolta for over six years.
