Mohammad Abdul Karim Khamis is a young Emirati from Dubai and one of the visionary, energetic and respected facility management experts in the UAE market.
He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Strategic Management as well as a Certified Homeowners Association Professional by Real Estate Regulatory Authority RERA, well trained in Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP) from the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) in New Orleans, Louisiana USA and Facilities Management Transformation of the Middle East Facilities Management Association (MEFMA), which has helped him to have 15 years of hands-on experience at the operational and managerial level to lead the integrated facilities management activity.
His 15 years of travel in industry with the government. and the private sectors led with leading innovation and business excellence activities focused on launching innovative ideas and cost-effective solutions leaving a positive impact on end users.
Currently managing EnFM covering all functions. He reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for the strategic growth of the business in the UAE.
He is a pioneer in the creation of commercial FM entities. Prior to EnFM, it was successfully institutionalized and established Deyaar Facilities Management as an autonomous entity of Deyaar Development PJSC.
EnFM was guided by cultural values through visionary leadership which led to implementing a strong resilience business continuity plan to overcome emergency crises and disaster management resulted in growth despite the Covid- 19.
Currently, EnFM manages over AED225 million worth of contracts covering 800 locations across the UAE. Based in Dubai. Since our inception in 2012, EnFM has bagged various projects with a scale of up to AED 35 million (single contract value).
Khamis says, “Our state-of-the-art CAFM system increases operational efficiency while helping us make faster decisions with dashboards based on real-time data. Our 10 years of service delivery journeys across the UAE have developed resilience in embracing the changes necessary to meet and exceed customer expectations, including during unforeseen situations. 2021 has been a remarkable year in the history of Emirates National Facilities Management (EnFM) as we take business to the next level of travel in the UAE market.
EnFM has seen the greatest growth in financial terms and overall organizational development, ensuring progressive customer satisfaction with increased trust with its customers. EnFM has won 20 contracts entering the energy, oil and gas sectors. Additionally, in-house service delivery capability has been increased with the addition of engineering solutions, chillers and facade cleaning divisions.
He explains: “Operationally, we achieved 90% of the SLAs/KPIs and the mobilization time was reduced by 50% thanks to the implementation of innovative solutions. Implementation of the CAFM system, mobile applications for customers, contractors and the operations team and real-time dashboards. This has made it possible to achieve zero paper consumption in EnFM offices and site operating sites.
